Doing the Right Thing
Boise is a phenomenal place to live, work and play. That’s why we believe in getting out there and giving back. Our Pawsitive Project grants each employee up to 48 hours a year of community service time. We set aside $5,000 a year for employees to use for volunteer projects, and we raise tens of thousands of dollars each year as a company for local charities. We love to cook for the families at Boise’s Ronald McDonald house, help Rake Up Boise and collect food for the Idaho Foodbank. Community service is as much a part of Balihoo as our innovative software – it’s just who we are.
Balihoo’s Pawsitive Project grants each employee 48 hours per year to participate in volunteer activities of their choice. Our employees contribute in group activities with the Balihoo team and also donate hundreds of hours to others charities of their choice including those focused on education, community, the environment and families. As a team, we have raised thousands of dollars for local charities, including hosting a gala to raise donations for Family Advocates in the fall of 2013.
In the past year, we have raked, painted, cleaned, sponsored and fed the local community. And we love doing it!
